The school operates under certification of SEP – the Secretaría de Educación Pública.
But in addition, CMA is or has taken these major steps:
1. Incorporating the High School (Preparatoria) within the University of Guadalajara system. This means that our students are considered already enrolled in the University and that they can continue their studies at the University of Guadalajara immediately upon graduating from CMA. The University sets the curriculum and standards for the high school and its campus is open for our students to take specialized courses in the evenings and weekends.
2. Beginning the process of accreditation with one of the largest accrediting organizations in the United States. Obtaining this accreditation will provide a distinctive mark of quality, recognized internationally. The students will have the certainty that their educational experience has met a high international standard.
3. Simultaneously, the CMA administrative office has started the documentation to receive ISO 9000-2001. Through this process, operations will be streamlined and the staff procedures will reach the most professional levels.
4. All computer instructors are being certified for the international standards of teaching Microsoft Office. Students can be certified as early as the sixth grade.
5. Finally, students are being prepared to take the Cambridge Certification Exams – an International standard for English language skills. They can help students gain entrance to a university or college, improve job prospects as they can guarantee their level of English through international recognition.
Within the next 12 months, CMA hopes to achieve a full build-out, providing Mexico with future graduates that will assume leadership roles in business, government, education and society in general.
