Welcome to Colegio
Mexico-Americano

Colegio Mexico-Americano (CMA) is a private school in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that offers an exceptional opportunity for the education of children from ordinary Mexican families. Its goal is to grant a significant and enriched bicultural experience for those who otherwise would not be able to afford it.

The school features a highly competitive and innovative curriculum program based upon the four pillars of learning: Knowing, Doing, Being and Undertaking. Upon these pillars is laid the crown: Educating Character.

Founded in 2002 CMA has had dramatic growth. It now provides fifteen grades (K-1 through Preparatoria) with the most exciting educational experience of any school in the area. Within just a 5-year span, CMA has grown to be the largest school in Puerto Vallarta.

Recently, it gained international recognitiion with articles in newspapers in 20 U.S. cities featuring CMA, including front-page coverage in the L.A. Times. Access the article via this address: http://travel.latimes.com/articles/la-trw-mexschool2apr02
