Colégio México-Americano (CMA) is a school in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that was founded to provide an exceptional learning opportunity for children of ordinary working Mexican families. Its goal is to offer a significant and enriched bicultural education to those who would not be able to afford such an experience.
The school features a highly competitive and innovative curriculum program based on the four pillars of learning: Knowing, Doing, Being and Undertaking. Upon these pillars is laid the crown: Educating Character.
Founded in 2002 CMA has had dramatic growth. It now provides fifteen grades (K-1 through Preparatoria) with the most exciting educational experience of any school in the area. Within just a 6-year span, CMA has grown to be the largest school in Puerto Vallarta.
Recently, it gained international recognition with articles in newspapers in 20 U.S. cities, including front-page coverage in the Los Angeles Times. Access the article via this address: http://travel.latimes.com/articles/la-trw-mexschool2apr02
